Warm & Wet Season (January - June)
Higher water temperatures and calmer seas make for better underwater visibility.
Short rain showers and higher humidity, but longer stretches of sunshine and blue skies.
Warmer weather means prime mating and nesting seasons for giant tortoises, marine iguanas, and sea lions
Cool & Dry Season (July - December)
Lower temperatures and humidity attract more marine mammals, fish, and birds.
Dolphin, whale shark, and humpback whale sightings are at their peak. Green sea turtles are easiest to observe, now in mating season.
Migratory birds and penguins are their most lively; sea lion pups enter the world.
